Abstract

The development of systems for predicting the risk of critical conditions in obstetrics has been lasting over the past several decades, and unfulfilled hopes regarding electronic methods of diagnostics have brought the need for such systems to the forefront. Domestic and foreign experience with these systems has proven their effectiveness, and their digitization coupled with communication technology provide new opportunities for the more accurate calculation of individual risk consistent with the contemporary paradigm of personalized preventive medicine.
