Clinical case of combined endometriosis – personalized approach
AbstractEndometriosis is a common disease among women of reproductive age, with a frequency of 10%. Despite the study of this pathology, the issues of diagnosis and treatment remain relevant to this day. It is advisable for patients with an established diagnosis of endometriosis to receive long-term anti-relapse therapy and be under the dynamic supervision of an outpatient physician even after surgical treatment. Each case of endometriosis needs a personalized management strategy for the patient, taking into account her complaints, reproductive plans and the peculiarities of the course of the disease.
The clinical case described in the article demonstrates the difficulties of verifying endometriosis and, as a result, missed therapy opportunities. Using the example of a specific patient, it is possible to track current trends in the treatment of endometriosis.
Conclusion. The presented clinical situation actualizes the importance of timely diagnosis of endometriosis, indicates the need for an individual approach to the choice of treatment tactics for this disease. Taking into account her needs, the patient was selected and prescribed hormone therapy with didrogesterone for a long time to relieve pain, prevent relapses of endometriosis and preserve the possibility of implementing reproductive plans.
