Features of early reproductive losses in obese women

Abstract

Obesity, being the main non-infectious pandemic of the 21st century, is associated with a wide range of obstetric and perinatal complications. The problem of early pregnancy in patients with excess adipose tissue is the high frequency of early reproductive losses in the absence of genetic disorders of the embryo. The search for the causes of miscarriage in this group of patients is an urgent problem in modern obstetrics. This article discusses the main pathogenetic mechanisms of early reproductive losses in obesity.
