Adolescent contraception, selection criteria (mini review)
AbstractThe early onset of sexual activity, as well as the lack of sexual education, lead to undesirable consequences, in particular, teenage pregnancy, the risk of sexually transmitted infections, which highlights the urgency of the problem of adolescent contraception. Every child, as they develop, has the right to access information about sexual and reproductive behavior, as well as the right to choose a method of contraception. The article describes various methods of protection against unwanted pregnancy for adolescents, their advantages and disadvantages, as well as the importance of educational work to protect the reproductive health of the younger generation.
