Reproductive potential in obese women

Abstract

The article discusses the main reasons for decline in reproductive potential of obese women. Mechanisms of influence of excess adipose tissue on ovarian reserve, oocytes and endometrium are described detail. Complications of pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum period, perinatal complications in obese patients are described.
