Review of proposals for the new clinical practice guidelines "Normal pregnancy" in context of evidence-based medicine data

Abstract

In the last few years, a difficult demographic situation has been observed in the Russian Federation. The decline in fertility rates is due to a number of socio-economic and medical factors. The publication presents a review of current evidence on the value of micronutrient support for pregnancy, consideration of which in preparation of the new clinical practice guidelines “Normal pregnancy” can positively affect the quality of medical care and improve pregnancy course and outcomes. Approaches to determining the risks of hypovitaminosis are also discussed.
