Features of the postpartum period in patients who have undergone a new coronavirus infection

Abstract

Postpartum hemorrhage remains an urgent problem of modern obstetrics, as it occupies one of the leading places among the causes of maternal mortality. In connection with the coronavirus pandemic, course of pregnancy and childbirth is often accompanied by obstetric bleeding and development of septic complications, which leads to an increase in maternal mortality. This article describes clinical cases of postpartum hemorrhage in patients who have undergone a new coronavirus infection.
