Effectiveness of micronized progesterone for the prevention of miscarriage

AbstractMiscarriage is one of the urgent problems in modern Healthcare. Over the past 3 years, the evidence base for spontaneous miscarriage gestagen therapy has been developed and supplemented very actively (from 2019, when the PRISM study results were published, until the end of 2021 and the Cochrane meta-analysis release). The accumulated scientific data are reflected in practical medical recommendations. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) at the end of 2021 released recommendations for spontaneous miscarriage management, where micronized vaginal progesterone is recommended as the only drug in case of threatened miscarriage.
