Modern mechanical methods for labor pre-induction

AbstractOne of the main reserves for reducing the frequency of cesarean section is the programming of labor in pregnant women with obstetric and extragenital diseases in order to improve maternal and perinatal outcomes. The success of labor induction (LI) depends on the efficiency of сervical ripening methods before labor induction. In the literature there is a large number of randomized clinical trials that study the efficiency and safety of various сervical ripening methods. The safest and most effective methods are mechanical, in particular hygroscopic cervical dilators (Dilapan-S), which can be used in pregnant groups with low prenatal risk in outpatient, which reduces the number of hospitalizations at the preinduction stage and thereby improves perinatal outcomes.
