Ovarian pregnancy: a clinical case

Abstract

Ovarian pregnancy is a rare form of ectopic pregnancy that causes a major diagnostic problem. According to Yu.V. Kislitsyna (2018), 30% of women with a history of ectopic pregnancy later have difficulties with the onset of a normal pregnancy, 20% of those observed have an increased risk of recurrent ectopic pregnancy, and with a sequential, repeated ectopic pregnancy, the risk increases to 32%. The article presents a clinical case of an ovarian pregnancy in a 31-year-old woman with a history of one tubal pregnancy in 2016, underwent laparoscopic milking. Transvaginal ultrasonography showed an echogenic mass in the right ovary with no evidence of tubal pregnancy.
