Immunological aspects of miscarriage

Abstract

Miscarriage is one of the unsolved problems both in Russia and in the world due to the progressive increase in the frequency of the disease. The successful outcome of pregnancy and the development of the fetus largely depend on the state of mother's immune system and are regulated by many interleukins, interferons and embryotropic autoantibodies of IgG, changes in levels of which under the influence of various endogenous and exogenous factors can cause miscarriage. Determine the level of serum autoantibodies of the IgG class to myelin basic protein (MBP), proteins involved in the regulation of the migration of brain and spinal cord neuroblasts and their functional differentiation (S100), the fraction of non-histone proteins of brain tissue chromatin (ACBP-14/18) and the fraction of membrane proteins brain tissue (MP-65) is possible using the ELI-P-test system. Based on the results of the ELI-P test, depending on the serum immunoreactivity, the results are divided into normo-, hypo-, and hyperreactive. It is known that women with serum hyporeactivity, in comparison with normo- and hyperreactivity, have prerequisites for miscarriage. However, insufficient data of modern literature dictates the need for additional studies of the diagnostic capabilities of the test.
