Secondary postpartum hemorrhage

Abstract

Obstetric hemorrhages are one of the leading complications of the postpartum period and the cause of maternal mortality worldwide. We have studied the literature devoted to this problem, and it was found that, despite the prevalence of this complication, the availability of a wide arsenal methods of diagnosies, prevention and treatment, the development of modern algorithms of treatment based on knowledge pathogenesis and use of the latest pharmacological and surgical technologies.
