Russian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology in system of continuous medical education

Abstract

Over the last years the Russian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (RSOG) was actively in-volved in implementation of the new forms of education in system of continuing medical education (CME), including distance education of obstetricians-gynecologists. In the article successful educational project which was launched in 2016 - residential regional educational schools of RSOG - is described. It received official support from the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. In the article a brief report on the work of Schools in all federal districts of Russia, their advantages are represented, learning format is described, problems that appear on the way of CME implementation in the territory of the Russian Federation are identified, and also future School work improvement plans are represented.
