Modern ultrasonic diagnosis in early detection of recurrent ovarian cancer

Abstract

Aim. Studying research data complex ultrasonic diagnosis of early recurrent cancer based on two options-ascites and without ascites.

Material and methods. 88 patients with recurrent ovarian cancer who underwent sonographic examinations.

Results. Any changes in architectonic pelvis (thickening of the pelvic peritoneum, the appearance of the liquid, the appearance of cystic or solid particles) determined sonography, should be considered as a recurrence of the disease.

Keywords:recurrent ovarian cancer, tumor foci, sonography, Doppler
