Diagnostic tactics optimization in patients with abnormal uterine bleeding during peri- and postmenopause
AbstractIn the article spectrum of pathological processes that can cause abnormal uterine bleeding during peri- and postmenopause is studied. Sonography informativeness in group of perimenopausal patients was low - 57.9%. High efficiency of ultrasonic tomography in postmenopausal patients with uterine bleeding has been demonstrated. When informative was 86.0%, accuracy, sensitivity and specificity were 93.0; 93.8; 91.9% respectively. Principles of primary diagnostics in patients with abnormal uterine bleeding in peri-and postmenopause have been developed. In case of convincing evidences of primary diagnostics in relation to endometrial cancer existence, only aspiration biopsy should be used, excluding endoscopic examination.
