Induction or waiting?

Abstract

In the last decade an increase in pregnancy complications frequency and, as a consequence, cesarean section frequency has been observed. One of the reserves to reduce the rate of cesarean section are programmable labor. The authors analyzed up-to-date information on labor induction that were obtained from major studies, and characterized pros and cons of using this method in obstetric practice.
