Acute diseases of uterine appendages: problems and perspectives

Abstract

Review deals with the impact of acute diseases of the uterine appendages on reproductive health. The importance of restoring fertility in patients of reproductive age explains the interest of scientists to the effectiveness of various measures at all stages of management of ectopic pregnancy, hemorrhagic ovarian apoplexy, torsion of uterine appendages and purulent inflammatory diseases of the uterine appendages. It is necessary to improve the previously proposed algorithms of management, considering the development of modern technologies (fast track surgery). The presence of pathogenetic determinants of reproductive health disorders common and specific for each disease has also been confirmed, which makes it necessary to search for an integrated approach to the management of this category of patients.
