World conceptual approaches to reduce maternal mortality
AbstractA literary review of current trends in overcoming maternal mortality in the world is presented. The search for literary sources with a predominant depth of 5 years was carried out in domestic and foreign open access databases: elibrary, Russian State Library, Central Scientific Medical Library of the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, PubMed, PubMed Central, EMBASE, The Cochrane Library, BioMed Central. Reflects the main global strategies for developing and implementing measures to reduce preventable maternal mortality. Potentially life-threatening conditions associated with pregnancy are noted. Discussed questions about the possibility of full, effective prediction, prevention and treatment of severe maternal complications according to uniform standards for mega polis, not large cities, regional centers, rural settlements are highlighted. Attention is focused on the indirect (non-obstetric) causes of maternal mortality (extragenital pathology, social disadvantage of a woman, migration processes, etc.), which not inferior in importance to direct reasons, such as obstetric hemorrhage, pre-eclampsia and sepsis. Indicated the role of the megapolis resource in the implementation of the maternal mortality prevention strategy.
