Secondary postpartum hemorrhage: the urgency of the problem and the ways to solve
AbstractObjectives - to develop a single algorithm for managing patients with a diagnosis of secondary postpartum hemorrhage.
Material and methods. During the retrospective and prospective research analyzed of 75 patients with secondary postpartum period bleeding, which, depending on the severity of the condition and the results of the analysis, was performed with conservative or operative treatment.
Results. The complex well-chosen conservative therapy with view of the blood volume Loss and its replenishment allows in some cases to avoid surgical intervention. If the instrumental emptying of the uterus cavity is ineffective, repeated surgical treatment is inexpedient and the uterine and internal iliac vessels endovascular occlusion should be the choice method, which is a highly effective method of stopping bleeding without the relapses.
Conclusion. The problem of secondary postpartum complications remains extremely urgent. Promising is the development of modern treatment algorithms based both on the pathogenesis knowledge and the use of the latest pharmacological and surgical technologies.
