Preterm labor: is effective prophylaxis possible?

AbstractThe review is based on recent foreign data published in MEDLINE and EMBASE which cover the search of reliable markers of preterm labor risk evaluation. Advantages and disadvantages of various preventive risk-decreasing management to reduce unfavorable maternal and neonatal outcomes are being discussed.
