Management of single and multiple pregnancy in women with habitual abortion
AbstractProspective study results on pregnancy course and outcomes in women with recurrent miscarriage are represented. Frequency of gestational complications and pregnancy outcomes in women with single and multiple pregnancies, both spontaneous and after in vitro fertilization, which were performed with the use of dydrogesterone up to 20 weeks of pregnancy, were analyzed. The results, which indicate of favorable clinical outcomes related to pregnancy prolongation and late gestational complications frequency were obtained. It was found that dydrogesterone intake does not contribute to prolongation of aneuploid pregnancies. It was possible to achieve prolongation until full-term pregnancy in 63.4-78% of observations, preterm delivery were registered in gestational week 33-36 with a frequency of 9.3% (in case of single pregnancy) and 24.1% (in case of multiple pregnancy). There were no significant differences in incidence of complications between groups with spontaneous onset of pregnancy and pregnancies after in vitro fertilisation.
