Integrated sonography in the diagnosis of early recurrent ascites and without ascites variants of ovarian cancer

Abstract

Aim - studying research data complex ultrasonic diagnosis of early recurrent cancer based on two op­tions- ascites and without ascites.

Material and methods. 88 patients with recurrent ovarian cancer who underwent sonographic examinations.

Results. Any changes in architectonic pelvis (thickening of the pelvic peritoneum, the appearance of the liquid, the appearance of cystic or solid particles) determined sonography, should be considered as a recurrence of the disease.
