Ovarian endometrioid cysts and infertility: ways to overcome

AbstractThe article describes in detail the mechanisms of the negative impact of the ovarian endometrioid cyst on its functional state and oocyte quality, and the aggravation of this process after its operative treatment, further leading the woman to infertility. Topical recommendations in the management of women with ovarian endometrioid cysts aimed at maintaining fertility are considered. The newest results of conservative therapy of endometrioid ovarian cysts are presented, in particularly with the use of dienogest.
