Preeclampsia: the newest points in pathogenesis, screening and prohpylaxis

AbstractPreeclampsia (PE) and its complications is the major reason of 30% cases of maternal mortality and severe morbidity. Pathogenesis of this fearsome complication is not clear completely yet. The prophylactic strategies are being controversial until today. This review is based on the results of recent researches got from PubMed, Medline and ISI Web of Knowledgeе and aimed at some points of PE pathogenesis: endoplasmic reticulum stress, apoptosis, endothelial cell-activation, inflammatory response, thrombosis and thrombotic microangiopathy, allogenic incompatibility. The aspects of risk stratification, screening and prophylaxis of PE are also being reviewed.
