Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia: a modern view on the problem and solutions

AbstractCervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women. The article provides classification of schemes and terminology of uterine cervix precancerous conditions, comparison of cytological and histological classifications of noninvasive and invasive cervical diseases. Also in the article described cervical cancer aetiopathogenesis, uterine cervix pathology diagnosis and management of women with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN). The article also presents CIN backset risk factors and ways to reduce them after treatment. In a concise way information about primary prevention of precancer and cervical cancer is provided.
