Prevention of perinatal complications in pregnant women with anemia

Abstract

The article presents the results of the prevention and treatment of perinatal complications in 60 pregnant women with anemia. Pathogenetically substantiated complex of healthcare measures in the earliest stages of pregnancy, including drug correction of violations feto-placental homeostasis disruption in conjunction with antianemic treatment would compensate chronic insufficiency of placental bed and placenta.

Clinically it manifested in decreasing of complications in early, late stages of pregnancy and during labor. Convincing efficacy endpoints of proposed measures were reduction of perinatal morbidity to population figures.

Probably implementation of recommendations of WHO (2004) about prevention and treatment of anemia in pregnant women in the beginning of the first trimester of pregnancy should be considered necessary.
