Extremely preterm birth. Outcomes for children in the presence of gradual health care delivery

Abstract

The problem of premature birth is one of the main problems in the field of maternal and child health care. Currently, nursing children with birth weight <1000 g is one of the most difficult medical and organizational problems. In this article analytical for extremely premature infants in the presence of gradual health care delivery are published. The authors conducted post-hoc analysis of 48 preterm births in gestational week 22,0–27,6. All deliveries were completed in the obstetric clinic Ivanovo scientific-research institute of maternity and childhood named after V. N. Gorodkov for the period from 2012 to 2014. Data resulting from the study suggest about high level of morbidity among the children. The solution of given problem requires large medicosocial and financial outlays.
