Bacterial vaginosis during pregnancy. Second-stage treatment

Abstract

Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is widespread in women of any age and, in particular, during pregnancy. BV is a risk factor of early delivery and obstetric, postpartum and perinatal complications. Therefore it is advisable to examine the patients and treat them in case of BV detection. This article represent BV risk factors, its complications in pregnancy and treatment options.
