Abstract

High blood pressure during pregnancy, according to experts, diagnosing in 10–15% women worldwide. In this case arterial hypertension (AH) is a high risk factor of developing serious pregnancy complications. The aim of this work was to study pregnancy flow phenomena and perinatal outcomes in pregnant women treated with beta-adrenergic blocking agents. It has been shown that antihypertensive therapy with beta-adrenergic blocking agents (metoprolol, bisoprolol) is effective in hypertension in pregnancy, but it also decelerate mother’s heart rhythm and is a risk factor for low birthweight infants. The authors propose to make changes in Society of cardiology of Russian Federation Recommendations for arterial hypertension management in pregnant women (2010), and antihypertensive therapy administration tactics (reducing the dose and duration of betaadrenergic blocking agents administration).
