Pregnancy in women with transplanted kidney

Abstract

To date, renal transplantation is an accepted treatment for end-stage renal failure. Pregnancy in this group of patients are at high risk of complications for the mother to the fetus and newborn.

The number of pregnancies in women with a transplanted kidney is growing steadily every year, putting a lot of questions before the practical obstetrician - gynecologists. One of the key problems associated with taking immunosuppressive drugs.

Today widely used immunosuppressive drugs on the one hand increases the number of successful deliveries, but at the same time, provides a number of adverse effects on the developing fetus. The review describes the basic planning and tactical management of pregnancy in women with a transplanted kidney.
