Medicine, alcohol and smoking – reality of risk factors

Abstract

The article reviews evidence based data which cover modern lifestyle factors that can greatly influence overall health and well-being, including fertility. Many lifestyle factors which can be regulated such as administered medicines, cigarette smoking, illicit drug use, alcohol and caffeine consumption and others can have negative effects on fertility. The present literature review aims to identify the role of numerous lifestyle factors in determining reproductive status.
