Large intracraneal fetal brain malformations

Abstract

In this article experimentation about large intracraneal fetal brain malformations identification by using 3D/4D ultrasound is described. The analysis involved 26 cases data from fetuses between 22 and 40 weeks of gestation. In all cases of true encephalomas, except corpus callosum lipomas, prognosis is extremely unfavorable.
