Uterine cervical diseases during pregnancy

Abstract

Cervical cancer is on the 1 st place among tumors associated with pregnancy. Of particular importance is to identification at early stages, by widespread introduction of screening programs for not pregnant women. That allows timely define nonmalignant pathologies, premalignant lesions of uterine cervix and their etiological agents plus provide adequate medical treatment. In this article main types of the pathologies that were revealed during examination (ectopia, pseudoerosion, polyp, condylomas, leukokeratosis, dysplasia) have been described in detail. Brief recommendations of such leading organizations as the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, IARC and Selleret are given. Besides regimen of cervical cancer during pregnancy are offered.
